Q: What is the Fly Now Payment Plan?
A: The Fly Now Payment Plan is available when you use your AmericanAirlines Credit Card to make purchases of $150 or more anywhere the card is accepted. You get No Interest on Purchases of $150 or More if Paid in Full Within 6 Months*. The required minimum monthly payment is the greater of $25 or 3% of your account balance.
Q: Where else can I use my card?
A: The AmericanAirlines Credit Card may be used for domestic American Airlines telephone reservations, and also at airport ticket offices, Admirals Clubs, American Airlines Self-Service Check-In Machines, American Airlines travel centers and approved travel agencies.
Can I purchase anything other than air travel with my card?
A: Yes. The AmericanAirlines Credit Card is valid for other purchases such as Admirals Club® memberships, checked bag fees, AAdvantage® upgrades and more.
Q: Do I receive AAdvantage miles when using this card?
A: You won't earn extra AAdvantage miles using this card. Of course, you still receive AAdvantage miles on your applicable American Airlines flight activity.
Q: Can I use the card to buy travel on other airlines?
A: As long as your ticket is issued by American (or on behalf of American by a travel agent), your itinerary may include flights on other airlines, such as flights operated by American's oneworld partners that have an AA flight number. Generally speaking, you can use the card to pay for any ticket purchase on AA.com. The AmericanAirlines Credit Card can't be used to pay for travel that is ticketed by another airline.
Q: Can I use the card to make purchases onboard the aircraft?
A: No, at this time, the AmericanAirlines Credit Card can't be used for onboard purchases.
